HYC Page Twenty Five
Photos taken 03-06-04

WOW! Look at what happened in only two days! Almost all of the south side
finger piers have been put in place.

This is the C Dock. These are forty foot slips.

Next week, the intermediate pilings will be placed between these finger
piers starting from the outer end and working in. Once that is finished,
the North facing finger piers will be positioned starting at the bulkhead
end, and the intermediate wood piles installed as the barge backs out.
Baring any bad weather, the placing of the remaining piers could be
finished within the next week or ten days.

Looking back at the North end, the replacement sheet piles have arrived,
so work on the bulkhead should resume on Monday.

Another look at the new E-Dock.

This is the big pad at the E-Dock that will be the landing for the ramp.
It will also connect to the existing wood floating dock at the
bottom of the photo.

The barge has been loaded with the wood pilings which were saved from the old
piers. These will be the intermediate piles between the finger piers.
