What a difference a few days makes! In this photo, you can
see
what I was talking about a few days ago. All of the finger piers
on B-Dock (on right) are now in place except the two on the far
end which will be forty five footers. The intermediate pilings have
also been placed and cut to length.

Another view shows that the service towers and the corner
triangles are
also installed.

The finger pier on left was seen being bolted in place on
page 28. The
cleats have been installed and it's ready to be occupied! The courtesy
dock will get another section on this end which is somewhat larger than
what you can see here. The ramp from the bulkhead will go down to it from
a landing which will go on the two pilings beneath the white light post.

It appears the the last of the sheet piles of the new
bulkhead have been
driven in. The end will have to be constructed on the corner and the
top will have to be added.

The new hoist will have a larger base than the old one, so
the base is
being prepared for more concrete.
This next week should see most of the
remaining finger piers being put in and the
bulkhead work completed. Water and electrical service will take time to install
and activate. I haven't heard the timeline on that. It's my understanding that
some of the boats will begin to occupy the news slips as soon as next weekend.
