WOW! The new walk is almost finished! Well, maybe not
quite! But it's going pretty fast.
I shot this photo about 1:30 as soon as I arrived at the club.

This man is smoothing the sand that has been put over the
gravel base.

This is the ramp and upper landing for the courtesy dock
right behind the club.

There appears to be about two inches of sand under the
pavers.

This gentleman appears to be the foreman of the crew doing
the pavers. He is checking on the
placing of the bricks. They are moving right along!

I just know this guy has to have a sore back at the end of
his day! Yet, look
how straight his back is. He could really lay them down!

This is the new landing for the top of the handicap ramp.
If you blink your
eyes around here now, you'll miss something!

This crew has almost finished the area between the
buildings!

Meanwhile, back on the North side, the landscaping
continues. The red post
marks the end of the pavers coming down from behind the club. All you see
remaining will be paved in asphalt.

This machine compacts the gravel much as a roller would.
When finished, it
almost looks like it has already been paved.

This is just South of the large Hoist. This will also be
paved with asphalt
except the area along the bulkhead to the stake.

The water supply along the docks runs just below the heavy
wood piece. These fellows are
checking on a leak they discovered after the water was turned on.

This is looking South from the E-Dock. What a difference a
week makes!

The gravel is being compacted in this area as well. Can
you tell how big the
hoist is in this photo?

It's almost 3:00 and he is almost finished to the north
corner of the
club house.

Work is also being done inside of the club! Not sure who
this is, but he is overpaid!

Phew! All of that was done in about two hours! All I can
say is our
club is really going to look great when it is finished!

The finished project! Well almost. The remainder of the
pavers along the bulkhead
should be finished before the end of the week at the rate they were going today!
