HYC Page Forty Six
Photos taken May 8, 2004

I arrived a little early for Flag Raising and the first thing I noticed
was the new tent on the Flag Deck!

The ramp is complete and has the new railing installed on both sides.

Our new entrance looks great. The railing on the right has been replaced
to match the new one on the ramp. Who's that lady?

The flags are being raised in preparation for the ceremony. This American Flag
has flown over the White House! It was bought by Sanford Richardson in an
auction to help the Hunt-Miller Olympic trails, and presented to the club
to be flown at our Flag Raising Ceremonies.

The Board of Directors pose for an Official group portrait. Buddy DeRyder
was on the balcony for the official shot.

The Gold Ribbon is in place for the Ribbon Cutting to officially
open the new docks!

It could not have been a prettier day for this event!

Past Commodore Gary Powell opens the ceremony and presented
Commodore Martin Holland his HYC Burgee.

...........who reciprocates by presenting Past Commodore Powell with
a framed HYC Burgee.

Commodore Holland also recognized Phil Briggs for all of his
many contributions to the club over the years, and presented him a
framed HYC Burgee. Phil was also awarded a Life Membership
for those contributions. Congratulations, Phil!

The Official Ribbon Cutting to open the new docks. Commodore Martin is assisted by
Past Commodore Powell, Vince Behm, and Rear Commodore Ross Burshell.

Everybody help, now..................

The ribbon has been cut and the new docks are Officially open! The Commodore
then declared the bar open and everyone moved inside to enjoy the
great treats and libations prepared for us by the club staff.
