The bulkhead work is showing real progress.

This gentleman is drilling holes in the cap for the nails.
The wood is so hard it's
difficult to hammer all the way in. Besides, the nail
only has to hold in the
lower piece to hold the cap in place.

The dredge is working on the last area to be done.

The crane and scow have just moved closer to the bulkhead
and is
preparing to deepen the little area behind North Sails.

As you can see, the near end of the scow is pretty low in
the water. Here the tug is turning the scow around so the crane can reach the
other end.

Since this area should not be seeing any large sailboats,
it is only being
dredged to a depth of six feet MLW. I'm under the understanding that
the dredging should be finished by Monday afternoon.
