This view taken from the dinning room balcony gives one a
very good idea how
far the bulkhead work has progressed. I understand they put in around
thirty feet of sheet pile today!

The crane is back with a barge loaded down with the new
concrete pilings. The
main pier ( B) has had the new end attached and the crew is getting ready to
place the first piling to lock it into place.
The long floats on the diagonal are the piers which will make up the next three
docks.

Project manager Phil takes a walk down the new pier to check on the progress.

This is just some of the new water pipe that has to go through the piers.

The new electrical junction boxes have been installed to the flag deck.

The transit is being used to position the piers to within
1/4 inch of the
desired position before the piling is driven in. The end of the pier is
moved back and forth using a cable to the piling on the "old A dock"
and another one to the barge which is anchored by it's spuds.
