We teach young people sailing and seamanship in a safe, fun and structured environment. HYC Juniors are taught respect for others, care for their equipment and to always be willing to lend a helping hand to others on and off the water. The goal is to create skilled and confident young people who will be a lifelong credit to the Hampton Yacht Club and their community.

The program offers a variety of classes to meet the needs a wide rage of abilities. Program enrollment is open to anyone interested in learning to sail, and is not limited to HYC members.

Our instructional sailing programs run three times a year for junior sailors from ages 6 thru 17. These programs will run in the Spring (May/June), Summer (June/July/August) and the Fall (September/ October). For detailed information on these programs click on the item of interest below:
