The Crowne Plaza Marina Hotel is located in downtown Hampton on the waterfront and is an easy walk to regatta headquarters. Special package for SBRW racers includes basic rate of $110+taxes (includes FREE parking). Be sure to say you are entered in Southern Bay Race Week and want the special discount package available to SBRW racers. Gosnold’s Hope Park (757-850-5116) about 5 miles from the club, and
Newport News Park (757-888-3333). Both of these facilities are city parks; therefore, camping
arrangements must be made during business hours.

Thursday, May 31, Regatta Check-in (6:00pm) and Skipper's Meeting (7:00pm).
Post-race parties, award presentations, live entertainment, and more on Friday
thru Sunday, June 1-3 at HYC under the Regatta Tent.
Hampton Yacht Club will have some slip and T- head space available at $0.75 per
ft for visiting competitor boats – reservations for available slips will be on
first come first served basis. Competitors who are doing the Down The Bay Race
and staying to do SBRW will be given priority. Confirmation of a slip
reservation will not be possible until HYC knows what slips will be available
during the event. Rafting (free) will be available. For details and to get on

One Design Keel Boat Launching and Trailer Storage. One design keel boats can be accommodated at the HYC via electric hoist. Trailer storage space will be provided.

Bluewater Yachting Center is a first class marina (200 slips) and full-service
boat yard operation with excellent staff and facilities – offers restaurant and
bar on the grounds - is within sight of and a 4 to 5 minute drive through the
neighborhood to regatta headquarters (HYC) – slips are available – direct access
to HYC and regatta venue by water -please contact, BYC Marina

Complimentary launch service to Downtown at 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm.

headquarters (HYC) and are located adjacent to the Crowne Plaza, Hampton.

PARKING
Parking on HYC property is strictly limited to HYC members only. Ample street parking is available within a short walking distance.
DIRECTIONS FROM NEAREST MAJOR HIGHWAY
From I-64 West Take the 2nd exit after the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, the Woodland Rd exit (Exit #267). At the bottom of the exit ramp, take a left on Settler's Landing Rd. Cross the bridge over Hampton Creek, travel past Air & Space Museum on the left, turn left at Bridge Street. Go about 1/2 mile, the Hampton Yacht Club will on the left, behind the big cannon.
